Membership requires approval = someone has to approve membership

Messages from new members require approval = posts require pre-approval before it goes to the group

All members can post messages = all members can posts, as opposed to maybe only moderators

Email attachments are not permitted = you can not send attachments, yahoo will strip them out

Members can hide email address = in a members edit membership, they can choose not to display their e-mail- thisis not reverible and also means the polls feature is gone

Listed in directory = the group is in the dierectory for others to find
