Yes you can. If you want to connect two computers together using the internet you are most likely using a router. The operating system does not restrict how two computers can connect using a router.

Some older games will only operate on Windows XP operating system while others will be compatible with both. You can check the OS compatibility of the game in the game's instructions or on the back of the box.
