Can you Return a Netflix movie without the envelope?

Question

We ordered some movies from Netflix and when we were ready to return them we couldn't find the envelopes. What should we do?

You can probably contact Netflix and ask them.  I have had a similar problem, but I only lost one envelope. I was told to stuff 2 dvd's in one envelope. If you have at least one envelope you could do the same.

sorry but i don't think you can =( but i could be wrong...i would totally call the company before you drop  it off just to be safe!

Yes, you can mail it in your own envelope.  Since you would have to pay for postage yourself, I would recommend mailing back one movie.  Then, your next movie will arrive from Netflix and you can use that prepaid envelope to return all of your movies.  In any case, here are the instructions from the Netflix website:

Lost the red prepaid return mailer?: just place up to two DVDs in another Netflix red prepaid return mailer. If you are on a 1-out-at-a-time plan, or can't locate any red return mailers, please send the DVD back to us inside its white sleeve, in your own return envelope with sufficient postage to the address listed below. The white sleeve includes a special barcode that we can use to associate this returned disc with your Netflix account.

Lost both white sleeve and red prepaid return mailer?: return the disc in your own return envelope including a note with your Netflix account email address, and sufficient postage, to the address listed below. We will need your account email address to associate this returned disc with your Netflix account.

Yes you can if you lost the sleeve that they came in just put them back into the envelope. If you lost all the envelopes just email them and tell them what happened.
