Can you Survive on $7.00 an Hour?

Thequestion is an easy one imagineyou are being paid a burger flippers rate of pay. Can you pay a $700 amonth rent and all the other basics on $700. an hour?

where i live they want your rent paid with one paycheck. so no, you wouldn't be able to survive in my world anyways.

if you make 7 an hour your rent shouldn't be 700.00  but yes you can pay 700.00 rent with 2 checks and still have a little money left

Of course.   I pay $700 a month on rent and I often get less than $7.00 an hour even though I ask for $7.00 an hour for cleaning homes!  This also happens to many on welfare  they have to pay $700  sometimes $850 for an apartment and the maximum welfare cheque in Canada is $906 for a single person!  Oh although  I clean homes for $7.00 an hour  sometimes less  for businesses & offices I charge $8.00 an hour!   Sometimes I add travelling costs if place is a long distance away!

Notation: (Cheque is how Canadians  spell that word while you Americans use Check)  I don't give a hoot about the spell checker.. I do things the Canadian way!

It is possible, but life would suck.

There is no reason why a person can't go to school and better themselves now a days. There is so much financial aid and loans to people with bad credit for school. If you don't get a degree it is your own fault for making $7/hour.
