Can you a guard be held liable for making false statements in the witness box while under oath?

Even if to accused plead guilty to an offence which was not related to the allegations made by said guard?

  1. They don't put you under oath to tell the truth and then allow you to lie under any circumstances.  Yes, anyone can get in trouble for lying under oath.


  2. Oh! Of course my dear! It's called perjury. And if you get caught making false statements under oath, you're history. Maybe the president can pardon you after awhile. lol.
