Let's say I'm in China and I want to access the wireless external hard disk drive I have back home in California. Is this possible and if so what are some good products that store around 200-500 GB that perform this function?

  1. You could if you could access the network remotely!!

As long as you can get to a computer that is on that network that has access to that computer... your good to go...

    Try looking at -

Would be a few to try!

As per the Wireless External -

Western Digital or Iomega would be good ones.  I would prefer LaCie, but they dont have one yet.  They seem pricey though!
