  1. Cut 'em in half and count the rings.


  2. carbon dating - that's cute - maybe when they've been dead for a million years.  DNA, no, but just by looking at the wear on their internal organs you could probably get an estimate.

If you are talking about a living person who is cooperative with testing I think you could run a battery of tests including MRI of the brain, CT Scan of the lungs and liver.  Urine tests.   I think DNA is a set of genetic markers that would be the same at 88 as 18.   If it only an academic exercise carbon dating would be the gold standard.  I think the Alaskan discovery of the Air Man is just a testament to how accurate DNA can be with long preserved DNA.  Since 1948 as I recall the news article.  

  4. I have heard that examining a person's bone structure will give you a close approximation of their age.
