  1. I can if I want.

  2. Yes.

There aren't certain things that make you a 'qualified' environmentalist or not. Basically just making a consious effort to reduce impact is what makes you an environmentalist.

Clearly you can't be a vegetarian or vegan if you eat meat, and one of the big arguments that they have concerning the environment is that meat production requires a lot more energy than vegetable or fruit production. While this is true, it doesn't mean that you HAVE to give up meats.

Giving up meat is not a requirement if you want to make the world a better place to live, and you can still do a lot for the environment without becoming a vegetarian or vegan.

  3. I would never call myself and environmentalist, I am a conservationist.  And yes, I eat meat, some of which I kill myself.

  4. Bambi's Momma was Free Range Organic.

  5. Since eating meat is natural, yes. Can you call yourself an environmentalist if you use a computer powered by burning oil? Well.....

  6. YES !

  7. Definitely Yes, You may be misunderstood the meaning of ENVIRONMENTALIST ..

  8. By all means yes. If meat were not consumed there would be an over population of animals.

  9. IF ALION FOUND U IN THE JUNGLE AND HE WAS HUNGRY AND HE IS HUNGRY 99.9% OF THE TIME...

    HE WILL EAT U

SO IS HE ENVIROMENTAL OR WHAT?

HUMAN CAN EAT WHAT HE CAN EAT AS LONG IT DOESNT HARM HIM AND IF WE JUST TREAT THE INVIROMENT GOOD THEN WE DONT NEED TO WORY ABOUT THE ANIMALS

COZ AFTER ALL LOOK WHAT R WE DOING WITH THE GAS AND THE POLOTION AND THE OIL DIGING AND THE WARS AND THE NUECLEAR TESTES

SO DEAL WITH THE BIG STUFF THEN LOOK AT WHAT U EAT AND IS IT RIGHT OR WRONG.

    CHEERS

  10. Well can you call yourself an environmentalist if you eat veggies? the would may never know...

  11. Eating meat actually reduces overpopulation of animals that can be detrimental to our Green Earth. Overgrazing can increase pollution and soil erosion. Animal decay and even digestion produces hydro-carbons; so go ahead and order that quadruple hamburger for the good of ol'mother-earth.

  12. Of course. You can call yourself anything you want. There will ALWAYS be someone to argue and dispute the details with you. Truthfully, if you consider yourself one (within logical reason) you are. It obviously is more environmentally friendly (the whole deal with trophic levels, human population dynamics, and carbon footprints) to be vegetarian - but I've never heard that eating meat would ban you from their really cool club.

  13. Perhaps not if you buy it wrapped in cellophane from a supermarket.
