  1. i dont think so because its like 4+6 is 10.....well its like 4x2=8 of you multiply or add to numbers than it will be able to divide evenly

  2. no, even + even = even even+odd= odd etc.

  3. it would not be possible, because even numbers of things will aways be even. the only way to get an odd number when adding is to add an odd number of odd numbers. for example: 2 + 1 = 3

    2+2+2+3+4 = 13

    but 2+2+2+3+3 = 12

this is because one and one will always be 2 (subtract one or add one to any odd number and you will have an even number!

  4. no. but you can add two odd numbers and get an even.

  5. Nope.

Let 2m be an even number (where m is an integer)

Let 2n be another even number (where n is an integer)

    2m + 2n = 2(m + n)

Since m and n are integers the sum 2(m + n) will also be even (a multiple of 2).

    The rules:

    even + even = even

    even + odd = odd

    odd + even = odd

    odd + odd = even

Basically, if you add two numbers of the same type (both even, both odd) you get even.  If you add two numbers of a different type (one odd, one even) you get an odd result.

  6. The rule is:

    even + even = even

    odd + odd = even

    even + odd = odd + even = odd

  7. no

  8. No, the rule is  odd plus odd equals odd---even plus even equals even---odd plus even equals odd.

  9. Yes. All it takes is an error.
