I confess

eg totaly in 1974 when Germany won the World Cup there again.

or during the whole WC02 LOL untill the final :(

...and maybe (just maybe...) in the match Germany vs Austria in the EU08 newly...Micha scored there just with a supernatural (German typically...) free kick

  1. yes sure. i've also seen the other team get lucky ag. us. but thats nth unusual in football. stuff happens and the game could go either way. whats impt is that you see your team working together and wanting to win hard enough. thats victory in itself.

  2. I do not believe in luck. But I believe Italy have had things go their favours when it shouldn't have. The pen vs Australia in 3006 WC was and still is dubious. Some say (even critics n pros) that it was a pen but grosso overdid it, some say it wasnt in the first place.

Either way, I think every team has that happen, club or NT

  3. LOL

My national team is too insignificant to be named here

For Germany, you have to admit they have been lucky at times

Just look at the three world championships

1954 was a bit lucky as Hungary at their best, with Puskas and Kocsis, were undoubtedly unstoppable by any team (even though you have to credit coach Sepp Herberger for his strategy prowess)

1974 was also a bit lucky as the Germans were able to stop the free-flowing Dutch Total Football, which was the revolutionary strategy in football then

1990 was a bit lucky too as it was the only World Cup decided with a penalty shot

Hey dude youre very nationalistic arent you?

    Do you follow the Olympics?

Germany havent won a gold medal but dont be disheartened, surely your athletes will win some

    =)

  4. being a natural born German i know for sure that Germany has NEVER been lucky!!!!!!! we just f@#&ing skilled!!!!

  5. i dont believe in luck. Sometimes things go in a teams favor and sometimes they dont. For every time a team has something go in their favor there will be another time when it goes against them, thats not being lucky or unlucky, its just how football works. If a team is destined to win than they will, regardless of the circumstances.

  6. There's no such thing as luck.
