I was watching a ball game and they asked this question, but I never saw the answer:

What is the last NL team to have three players with at least 25 home runs through the first 100 games of the season?

I know the Phillies have it THIS year, but I'm looking for the most recent occurrence before this.

  1. That's a tough one. My two "guesses" are....the Pirates and or the cincinati reds, both during the 60's.

  2. Without looking anything up, I'm going to take a wild guess and say it was the 1996 Colorado Rockies.

(Ok, sorry, that was incorrect. Only had 2 with 25+ at the 100 game mark. I'll keep thinking)

Update > d**n, I was off by one season. It was the 1995 Rockies. At the 100 game mark, Larry Walker had 27 HR, Dante Bichette had 26 HR and Vinny Castilla had 25 HR. Also, close behind on the team was Andres Galarraga with 23 HR.

  3. I would said: the 1995 Colorado Rockies. My second guess would been the Montreal Expos from the 90's. My final would been the Atlanta Braves from the 90's .

  4. Was this from the Mets game yesterday... the answer was the 1995 Colorado Rockies
