2. Where do you think Ryan Malone will end up......Edmonton, Columbus or someplace else?

(Saying it looks as if he's a goner)

3. If you have the following options...

A) Have dinner with Mario Lemieux at your favorite restaurant

B) Play golf with Mark Messier

C) Go to Disneyland with Mike Bossy

D) Go to a bar with Patrick Roy

....which do you choose?

4. Have you ever attended a hockey game where a team has won and hoisted the Stanley Cup?

5. What year will Lidstrom stop winning the Norris trophy?

6. Have you ever been to the NHL store in New York?

7. What current player autographs do you have?

8. How many times have you seen the Stanley Cup (whether it be traveling and you happen to see it or at the HHOF.....)

9. What is one thing you'd change in the NHL? Whether it be a rule or whatever.

  1. (1) I'd go back to 2004... Game 7s are awesome.  Plus, I was rooting hard for Tampa then... and I dislike both the pens and hawks.

    (2) Columbus, I think.  Not sure why though.

    (3) REALLY tough choice... I'd love to chill with Messier, but I don't play golf.  And drinking with Roy would be so exciting... I'd still have to choose the messiah.

    (4) No... hopefully someday, I can see my Rangers win it in person.

    (5) 2009!  He just got his last one! (No idea why I'm saying that.)

    (6) Yeah... not all that exciting heh.  I've been there a few times, never bought something from there though.  Though it's way better than that crappy store in MSG.  But there's no reason it should be a destination if you come to NYC, unless you happen to pass it and it's hot out and you need to get into some a/c.

    (7) none. :(

    (8) 3... once at the HHOF, twice at Nassau Mausoleum heh.

    (9) Contract the league to 24 teams.

  2. 1) With all due respect to lity, it would have to be 1992's SCF's Game 4 between Chicago and Pittsburgh. If you give me a choice though: 1993's SCF's Game 5 Montreal / LA.

    2) If he has to go I see him playing in Edmonton, where nobody wears a visor, he'll fit right in. He'll have to work on his skating in order to keep up though.

    3) Dinner with Mario or the bar with Casseau .. either way we'll meet plenty of women. Disneyland is for adolescants and a friend of mine who just retired from the Central Hockey League coaches Mess's cousin, so I should have those connections lined up if I want to meet "the Messiah"

    4) Have not. But of course I have seen it on tv many times.

    5) Tough to say. As a Finland fan it's hard to root for a Swede but the guy seems to be getting better. What is he 38? You wouldn't know seeing how good an all-around game he continues to play

    7) Just from NHL eh? Joe Sakic - most of the autographs I have in hockey are from retired players or CHL (including Maxime Mathieu who is gonna have a tryout with the Blue Jackets)

    8) Been with the Cup at the hall and have a pic of this will have to look for it. May 1999 - last time I was in Toronto.

    9) Make visors mandatory whether if you're a rookie or a 10-year vet like Iginla ..  I know the older players never wore one but it's more for safety's sake. Itech used to have a slogan of "Shields are replacable, Eyes are not." I have had too many close calls to not recognise the importance of a good shield. (including one which resulted in 7 stiches over the eye - causing the end of a promising career in .. will let you guys guess .. it wasn't hockey)

9b) I don't like the trapazoid rule either. Goalies like me who are able to play the puck descently should be rewarded.

  3. 1. Chicago / Pittsburgh. I was only 2 at the time, so I would like to see it.

    2. Buffalo! (I can dream)

    3. I'm going to Disneyland!

    4. Yes, and unfortunately it wasn't my fav. team holing it up *cough no goal cough*

    5. 2009

    6. State or city? city= no

    7. Most of mine are from about 5 or more years ago. I'm sure there are some current players, but none that I can think of at this time of night

    8. Twice in person. Once in '99, and I saw it at the mall a few years ago

    9. Get rid of the delay of game penalty for shooting the puck over the glass, and change it to the same rules as the team icing the puck(faceoff in defencive zone, and can't make a line change)

  4. Monday morning 10:00 am Going outside the box. Some of my answers weren't the options but then the options don't appeal to me.

    1. (OTB) April 21 1951, Montreal at Toronto game 5. The Barilko goal game.

    2. Someplace else. For some reason I'm thinking Chicago.

    3. Disneyland with Bossy. My granddaughter is going to be with us for a week while her father gets married. It will be a blast.

    4. Not in person but I don't feel I've missed anything.

    5. My guess is that he has won his last. Phaneuf is going to start filling his trophy case.

    6. No. And don't think it would be high on my list of gotta sees in NY.

    7. None. Never was an autograph collector. Especially hockey players.  They were part of my life growing up. They were just people.

    8. Never counted.

    9. No touch icing and puck into crowd delay of game. Maybe the latter will change but some ******** in hockey still like the former.

  5. 1. 1992 game four.

    2.  Edmonton...? I don't really know.

    3. Disneyland with Mike!

    4. Oh god, I wish. Oh wow. I did get to go to a playoff game this year though!

    5. Whenever he retires. And I hope that isn't soon. He is 38, but he doesn't seem to be slowing down (not talking about his speed. That, is slow. Talking about his game! haha) I say he's sadly done at 42/43.

    6. I have not.

    7. I, on a shirt, have a autograph from the one and only Steve Yzerman. Also in my basement I have one from Scotty Bowman, and a picture of my aunt and uncle with Steve Yzerman.

    8. Once, at the HHOF. And whatta great place by the way!

    9. That if you're freaking butt is in the crease it's a darn goal wether you're Tomas Holmstrom or not! And also I think that you should be able to hit the goalie when he is out of the crease. And get rid of that stupid trapezoid behind the net. Gayyy. Let the goalie touch it wherever. And I would force Bettman out of being commissioner. He sucks.

  6. 1. I'd go back to watch Game 4

    2. I think someplace else, because I think he wants to be a free agent as well. So in the end even if he is with one of them I think he tested the water first

    3. Who pays for Disneyland? If he's paying I'll go there first lol, otherwise yeah I'd take A

    4. Nope

    5. 2010, but may just be for a year

    6. nope

    7. Don't have any

    8. Haven't got to. Don't have the money to go to Toronto and don't live in a city with a team to see it like that.

    9. I'd get rid of that darn Trapezoid.

  7. 1) 1992 // Chicago & Pittsburgh.

    2) I'm pretty sure everybody in the world knows where i stand on this lol. I don't want Ryan to go anywhere...

    3) Choice A please. I think he'd have stories to tell me that i'd be more interested in than any other hockey player.

    4) noo.

    5) hahaha the hockey god only knows..

    6) Was only in New York once when i like, 3.

    7) none, other family members have a few though.

    8) none =(

    9) There wouldn't be a salary cap. lmao. so ryan malone could stay - obviously. =P gaaaaaah.

  8. Answering them on Monday fathers day kept me occupied this weekend!!

1). To me neither matter that much but I'll take a good game 7 any day.

    2).Please send him to NJ....please.

3).D. he was my idol growing up as a goalie in the 90's.

4).Not yet. Saw the Devils get the other hardware a few cup games and saw Stanley when it was in Jersey but not during a game live.

5).When his son takes it from him.

    6).Nope.

    7).Lot's and retired ones too.

8).I saw it all three times my Devils had it.

    9).Trapizode...lose it.

  9. Eh, I couldn't answer questions on that lovely Sunday evening.....but I can at 3:34AM on Monday! Haha...:-)

    5.Hmm....I don't know haha

    6.No

7.Hmm, I have a lot in storage packed away, but around in my room here I have Larry Murphy, Mario Lemieux, Marc-Andre Fleury, Sebastian Caron, Marty Straka and Petr Sykora.

8.I would've seen it if the Pens won it this season...

9.Go back to wooden sticks, s***w composite!

I have a couple others.....but you said only one haha..

EDIT----I scrolled up and saw Kimberly say that she would get rid of the salary cap; dude, the salary cap SAVED the Penguins. It screwed other teams like Vancouver over....but as a Pens fan, you should love it... It spreads out the talent in the NHL.....and don't be so selfish and say you want Malone to stay; if he leaves and we keep Hossa, I think that's a pretty good outcome. I wish MLB would get a salary cap so the Pirates would have a chance, and the Yankees would be FAIR.
