  1. Hossa's Done.  He knows he doesn't play into the Pens long term plans.

  2. 1.  Sean Avery or Jay Pandolfo.  The Sharks have enough talented skill players and need players that aren't always lookin to pad the stats!

    2. I think he tests the free agent market.  I think that was always his intent.  Marc Savard has been trying to lure him to Boston.

    3. Olli Jokinen finally finds a new home with Calgary.  The Panthers get that 1st rounder they need, and possibly a Tanguay or Aucoin to fulfill either their forward or blueline need.

    4. Yes and his agent Larry Kelly and Doug Wilson practically have a deal wrapped up already.

    5.  If there had to be a taker, its probably the St. Louis Blues.  But there has to be a draft pick or prospect included and not just Emery.

    6. Tough, but i'll say Datsyuk.  Amazing puck handling and the guy is as cool as ice even when opponents try to get under his skin!

    7.  Kyle McLaren.  What a waste of a roster space!

    8. I'd love to have Martin Erat or Andrei Kostitsyn.  We have McLaren, Carle, or Ehrhoff if they need!

    9.  The Thrashers do have Lehtonen so Hedberg makes a solid backup.  But i'm guessing they also signed him more to be a tutor for their next young stud between the pipes in  Ondrej Pavelec.

  3. 1. I wouldn't mind Campbell, Shanahan, Prospal, and Mats Sundin putting on a Pens uni :-) hahaha I can dream, shut up.

2.Accept. His offer is even a bit more than what he's making now. If he doesn't accept, he'll go down in the slums around where Jagr is in my books...

    3.No idea..

4.I think he's leaving, but what do I know? :-)

5.LOL, probably the Islanders with all the misfortune they've had in the past 20 years or so haha

6.Oh wow......hmm.....Datsyuk, just cause I love the guy

7.Malone, and I want Beech outta Pittsburgh, he ripped on our logo! A$$

    8.Hmmm Beech for Sundin!!!! :D

9.I think they shoulda went after another goalie, as much as I <3 the moose.....

  4. 1. Brian and Campbell and Hossa. The Coyotes would be instant contenders but risk the foundation of the team if they landed both. Hossa would be more likely of a choice.

    2. He'll test the waters and he'll end up in Phoenix.

    3. He'll stay there regardless if he expresses interest or not.

    5. Vancouver if a trade can be worked out for Luongo.

    6. Datsyuk

    7. Mike York

    8. Need to think on this one since I don't want to lose the core.

    9. Who knows? It's seems that ATL cannot do anything right!!

  5. 1.) (I apologize in advance) Malone, Orpik, and Campbell.

2.) I think he tests the free agency waters. If his agent's IQ is over 70 he'd be able to see that Hossa is probably THE premier forward on the market this year, and he could really cash in.

3.) No Idea, I've never been good at predicting this stuff. I'll say Marcus Nasland to an Eastern Conference team.

4.) I believe so, I think I just read something about that, lemme see if I can find it.

    5.) I'll say St. Louis. I don't know why.

6.) Datsuyk followed closely by Alfredsson and Campbell.

7.) Marek Malik, I don't like him, I don't even really know why.

8.) I would like Sather to trade Petr Prucha to the Av's for Wolski (it will never happen).

9.) I don't know... They have a lot of other needs to address, so I think they should go after players to fill those needs before they go out a tab someone as the "franchise" goaltender. You never know what you  may find in the draft.

  6. 1.) Huet and it looks like that's gonna happen.  I wouldn't mind Foote either, but i seriously doubt that'll happen.

2.) I don't expect Hossa to return to the Penguins, and definitely not before Malkin is signed.

3.) It'll definitely be on draft day, and will probably involve the Senators.

    4.) Yes.

5.) I see him landing with a two-way contract on a team who DESPERATELY needs a goalie.  Maybe the kings.  As for Emery himself I think this whole thing was blown way out of proportion.  He was late for practice twice and was frustrated at practice once.  I know for a fact that i have done both those things in my day as did every person i played with.  I'm not on the inside so i don't know for sure but to me it seems like Emery was scapegoated by the Senators management.

    6.) Alfredsson.

7.) Kozlov.  He's okay, but he doesn't try very hard and is a total cupcake when it comes to physicality.  His value high right now and trading him would free up some space to bring back Fedorov.

8.) I'm happy with the Caps roster as is (assuming we bring back Huet) i wouldn't change a thing except maybe bring in a heavy hitting, stay-at-home defenseman.

9.) Who?  Who would you have targeted instead?  Hedberg has made a place for himself in the organization, and is a solid back-up.  I guess you could make a case for bringing in Conklin, but Hedberg is fine so why take the risk?

  7. Hossa isnt done, Pens reportedly offered 7yrs 50 mil. He's not going to review it until later this week. He will get more on the market but with the Pens about to lose Malone to Columbus, it is feasible they keep Hossa.

  8. 1. Sundin is the only one this year.

    2. He's going to Montreal.

    3. Two Sedins for three draft picks.

    4. He's a Shark.

    5. Phoenix can handle him.

    6. Alfie has been the best.

    7. Tucker

    8. Again Tucker this time for Horcoff.

    9. Better the one you know than the one you don't. Many Goalies flop when changing home teams.

  9. 1. Campbell, Lilies and maybe Fleury

    2. accept less from Pittsburgh

    3. before draft (Sens getting 2nd pick in draft)

    4. i don't know

    5. St Louis supposedly wants him

    6. Alfredsson

    7. Redden

    8. Meszaros for Umberger

    9. no, yes

  10. 1. MIKE JOHNSON, Mirslov Satan & Michael Ryder

    2. Accept a lesser value contract from Pittsburgh

    3. The Montreal Canadiens I believe, something is happening with Selanne.

    4. Im not sure, he probably will stay though..

    5. The LA Kings will probably get Emery

    6. Pavel Datsyuk

    7. Jeff Taffe

    8. Ryan Malone for Michael Ryder

    9. No, I think they made the best decision!

  11. 1. I would LOVE to see Ryan Malone on my Panthers.

    2. He will test free angency.

    3. Olli Jokenin or Jay Boumeester will be moving.

    4. He will Resign with them.

    5. Free Agency

    6. Pavel Datsyuk

    7. I would like to tarde up in the draft.

    8. I really Dont know
