Seeking information about something my father in law heard over the radio. Government jobs for Immigration Services so on and so forth. What are some of the jobs that I can do without any prior experience and where do I go to apply for them. Seeking 45k and up.

I also am wondering what benifits exist for the grandchildren of people who have served in the armed forces. Are there any college benifits I can get using the GI Bill if my grandfather and other family members have served in the military?

  1. The GI BIll is only for those who served in the military.  It assists with college education expenses. There is nothing for spouses, children, etc. of those who served in the military.

As for government jobs, you need to be a citizen.  Border Patrol agents need military or law enforcement experience, start around $30K.  You have to take civil service exams for the particular job category you are applying for.  There's very little for those without a university degree, and even those with a college degree really can't hope to start at $45K if they have no experience or particular expertise.  Since you fail to mention any university degree or expertise in any particular area, it is impossible to suggest anything other than to research the internet and Occupational Handbook to see what civil service jobs might be available for someone with a lack of education or qualifications.
