You know how there's a law where you can't pass a school bus. Well what if there was an ambulance behind the school bus and the school bus was driving on one way street near by a ditch with alot of kids inside the school bus and a very ill person in the ambulance. What would the school bus driver do? Please answer my question.

With love,

NiKKi

  1. If the ambulance had it's siren and lights going the schoolbus would pull to the right and let the ambulance pass on the left.

  2. The bus must pull over and give right of way.

  3. bus or car you pull over to the right and stop. the kids in the bus are not in danger.

  4. well the ambulance would have to pass it because the school bus would have to pull over anyway because that is the law, if an ambulance has its siren on behind u u have to get off the road and the bus driver would just have to drive faster to get past the ditch.:]

  5. If the bus is stopped with its lights on, then the ambulance will proceed with caution around the bus as there may be children in the street.

I have actually seen this, but the ambulance actually stopped behind the bus until the bus turn off its lights (signalling that the children were in the bus).  At that point the ambulance went around the bus.
