I want to buy a camcorder with these features:

-Mini Dv

-Headphone jack

-Night mode/night shot

-uses a USB Port

-really good optical zoom

I need a camcorder with these features, can you give me the name of it?

let me tell u 200-300$ is very less budget in terms of camcorder

MiniDV can easily be edited on a PC, but you should transfer the video via firewire, not USB.  USB connections are used for transferring stills and / or video streaming.

Be careful about optical zoom - the video quality suffers as you zoom in, the video gets darker and it's much more sensitive to camera movement.
