  1. Yes this will not cause any harm to you as long as you wash your hands thoroughly afterwards and dont breathe in any of the chemicals they let off.

  2. my vet said it can be done but not recommended if it is early pregnancy. they told me to try figure out when the cat is due to have the litter and try to do a week or so before and lucky me did it 2 days before so... to my next point the kittens. cause the mother has just had the frontline etc applied before birth the kittens will be guarded against fleas unless the infestation is bad. but the bedding should be cleaned by you regularly as the cat can't say hey how's about a bit of fabric softener in there too, she will just move the babies.

now worms you will need to worm the kittens in the first week as the kittens will be born with worms in most cases and the worms will deprive them of vital nutrients. so go to the vet on their first vet check approx at a week old and mum will be there too riding in the cat carrier too. and the vet will weigh check and give you directions on when to administer the worming medication.

you being pregnant i'd get ya partner do the flea treatment to the cat . if your house needs treating cause of a infestation then go to a relative's for a few days while the house is done

  3. Yes, of course you can!!

  4. I think that Frontline can be applied to pregnant cats.  I've just done my 3 cats and I'm sure it said on the packet that it was ok in pregnancy.

Is it the cat that is pregnant, or you?

If it is you just wear rubber gloves, wash hands and wrists after, (just in case), and don't touch the cat until it is properly dry.

  5. Pregnantent???  I'm assuming you mean pregnant.  Most flea medications will list whether or not it's safe for pregnant or nursing mothers.  Check the lable!

  6. No, have someone else apply it and also have someone else tend the litter box as well. When pregnant even things we think are inert can be harmful especially in the first tri-mester.  play it safe protect your unborn child..Enjoy the pampering while you can,  it won't last.
