  1. which country will you be coming from ?

  2. Yes you can! The Dutch or Belgian Schengen visa is valid for France. So, you can start your trip in Paris and then move north.

Remember however that in spite of having a Schengen visa you still are by law required to have a valid passport, sufficient financial means to support yourself and valid medical insurance.

I assume you are not a British citizen despite the fact that you travel from London? Because UK citizens do not need a visa for Europe.

(Neither do Canadians, Americans, Argentinians, Australians, etc.)

  3. Unless you plan to spend the majority of your stay in either Belgium or the Netherlands, then no:

If you intend to visit only one Schengen country, you must apply at the foreign mission of that specific country.

If you intend to visit several Schengen countries, you must apply at the foreign mission of the country which is your main destination, or of the country where you will be staying the longest.

If you intend to visit several Schengen countries but do not have a main destination or will be staying the same amount of time in each of them, you must apply at the foreign mission of the country you will enter first.

Of course you can lie, but there may be repercussions which you would rather not face.
