  1. u should always consider what other people are saying, even if you think they are wrong there is that slim chance they could be right, unless you know for a 100% absolute fact your right dont waste your time argueing, it will get you know where and might make you look kind of idiotic

  2. I like your self-confidence, but how can you go with your enemies?

If your worst enemy agreeded with any of your statement, you would probably have to reconsider.

Oh, no, you cannot assist a serve. No screen is allowed when serving.

Battle-wise, you will be a winner just by doing the right thing. Don't worry about that.

  3. I don't know who has been teaching you volleyball but you P.E teacher is infact right. On a serve it is up to the server and the server only to get the ball over the net. If the ball isn't going to go over and someone helps it over you lose the point. It is illegal to touch a serve that is still on your side and help the serve to go over.  Once the ball hits the net you get no second chances either, you lose the point and your opponent serves. There is a thing called "net ball" but that term isn't commonly used. It's when the ball goes directly into the net from a pass where you can play "off the net". You should really get your facts right and stop arguing with people who have more experience.

  4. No you can't, whoever told you that you can is 1000000% wrong.  Apologize to your PE teacher!

  5. your teacher is correct, so go apologize. the only person who is allowed to touch the ball while serving is the server. even though it is creepy that your "worst enemy" would agree with you, you are both wrong.

some advise for the future: get a rule book and take the time to skim over it, you don't have to read it.

  6. absslutly not this is very strange.....i dont know whether to laugh or to reply no way u can assist the ball ...untill and unless u r not a street player

  7. No, you really can't.  The only person who can touch the ball on the service side before the ball enters play on the other side is the server.

** Sorry... looks like you have to appologize!

  8. Your PE teacher is correct.  Apologize.

No one may assist the serve.  And the serve is allowed to contact the net in all major sets of rules.  FIVB, NCAA, USAV, and NFSHSA all allow the serve to make contact with the net and continue on.  If it makes it over, it is in play.  If it does not make it over, the other team gets the point and the serve.

USAV 12.6.2  After the ball has been correctly hit, the service becomes a fault (unless a player is out of position) if the ball:

12.6.2.1 touches a player of the serving team or fails to cross the vertical plane of the net completely through the crossing space

  9. Both of these guys are wrong. Bob i dont know what century you are in but the ball is aloud tot ouch the net as long as it goes over the net. There's no such thing as a net ball. And no you can't assist a serve, only the server gets credit as soon as someone on the servers side of the field touches the ball it becomes the other teams point and ball. I'm sorry but i think you owe your p.e coach an apology

  10. You can't win your battle because you are wrong. The server has to deliver the ball over the net without touching the net and without the ball being touched by anyone on his side of the net. If the serve touches the net the first time he serves it is called a "net ball" and he gets one more chance. If he touches the net the next try it is a point for the other team and they get the serve. If his first or second serve don't make it over the net it is a point for the other team and they get the serve. If you have been playing that you can help the serve you have been wrong.

  11. No, You are not allowed to assist the ball over the net when someone serves.

But more importantly, what the heck is the matter with your parents in raising you to be the kind of person that calls an adult names when you don't get your way? That's more shocking than the fact that someone told you a completely ridiculous idea of assisting a serve as allowable.

Now, not only are you completely wrong about the rule and, but you are completely inappropriate towards your teacher and deserve much more ridicule for being such a jerk.

Make up for it by doing the right thing; Apologize and from now on, keep your opinions to yourself when a P.E. Teacher tells you something and consider the fact that they are teaching professionals and might know what they are talking about more than a snotty nose kid, like you were being.

  12. ABSOLUTY NOT THE SERVE HAS TO GO OVER! or its the other teams point.

  13. Sorry your straight out wrong. The only person who can touch the ball going over the net is the server. BUT the ball is aloud to touch the net on its way over.

    Apologize.

  14. dont think so. say srry
