You can indeed, a healthy curiosity with an open mind keeps mans mind active and growing. There comes a point when man is either contented with his view of the world, or he closes the shutters and blocs out a world he cannot understand.

I always thought it's not the why that matters, but the what and how.

You could become a journalist with it.  You could not base your life on it as you can't always have the answers, and you may miss out on peace and love and companionship...

Too many of us just follow blindly and don't question.

All children, at a certain stage in their development ask 'why?'  in whatever language and they're right. Sadly, they despair of getting a satisfactory answer and stop asking the question.
