Can you be arrested if....?

My friend downloaded games from the pirate bay over the summer, and he is nervous that he will be arrested or sued because of it. Is there a chance that might happen (he only got like 5 games or so), and is there any way he can delete the games so if his computer was taken by the police he wouldn't be sued or arrested?

Well theoretically he could! probably would be in trouble if he's over 18.. You can however delete the games off the pc of course

of course he can get arrested even for one game bc its illegal. the only way he'll get caught is if the ppl over the site get busted for it and he gave them personal info such as adress and email and stuff and even if he deletes them from the computer it stays on your hard drive so if the police take it then he's screwed

Honestly, their is such a slim chance that he will be arrested because it is such a common crime that so many people commit. I would not worry to much about it, just do not do it again.

Not only that, they tend to target people who have downloaded an extreme amount of material, rather than just five.
