Can you be arrested if you try to get out of jury duty by doing something crazy?

Yes, you can be held in contempt.  Personally, I would never try to get out of it.  It is an awesome civic responsibility.  Plus, answer this question:  if you found yourself facing a jury trial, would you want a jury consisting only of people who could not think of a way to get out of it?  I doubt it.
