Can you be artsy and athletic at the same time?

I am super athletic, i play volleyball 5 days a week. and i golf. but then there is the part of me that loves to write. On all my spare time i am writing. i dont know why, but i am kinda embaressed to tell my friends and family that i write. i have been writing a story for awhile now and i want to show them. So can you be a hardcore vollebally player that is also artistic and loves to write?

Oh, absolutely. Life is hard enough without worrying about things like that. The more things you have that you love and are good at the more chances you have to be happy. Never try to narrow or limit yourself. Be as open as you can to all that you are and want to be. We aren't required to choose one thing and conform to that. Everything that is in you is equally important and each thing contributes to the others. Don't think of your personality as a solo player, think of it as a team. All the parts can work together to pull off feats that one part alone could not accomplish. That is something to be proud of, not ashamed.

yep.some people are super gifted at art and acedemic like emma watson-she got all a* she you can be athletic and artistic or you can be expressive through art by sport.if you trust your friends why not show them?they'll probably be impressed more then anything else!

there is no reason why not. I wrestled in high school as well as took time to memorize many poems including "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe

sure. I'm a professional artist/designer. I make a good living, I'm in my 30s. I also train athletically around 15 hours a week. It wasn't long ago when a true gentleman or lady was trained in the arts as well as proficient in athletics. For some odd reason, in popular culture nowadays, it's "cool" to be ignorant. Please don't dumb yourself down and stoop to that level.
