Can you be deaf in one ear and drive a class a vehicle?

  1. I'm deaf in both ears and have a cochlear implant and am able to pass the DOT physical....   I guess it all depends on who is giving the test....

    The law states that if there is a 40 decibel loss or greater, you must have a hearing aid in that ear.
