  1. It all depends on the drink!  Go for Bacardi and Diet Coke.....No Calories or Carbs!    But alcohol is like any other "splurge" on a diet.  If you know you are going to have a drink, have a lighter main course, or even better, skip the appetizer or desert!  ;)


  2. I'm no dietician...

    but the worry of drinking alcohol while dieting is the calories, and maybe carbs(?). So if you drink drinks with a low sugar content you should be fine. Like the other poster's suggestion of one mixer drinks using diet coke.

  3. It depends...a 12 oz light beer (domestic US) has about 100 calories, roughly the same as a shot or a glass of wine.  Some liqueurs have more...like Jager.  So you can be on a diet, but booze calories add up quickly.

  4. Each alcohol has different calories, and different sugar count ..... and mixers could have ALOT of calories
