Can you be qualified to become a cop if you take a police science course through correspondents?

i want to become a detective but i am not sure if i go to school if i can help me or rather just go through the RCMP course and work my way up

the courses in either school or a course have nothing to do with you being hired as a officer.you can not apply and go straight into a detective job. it takes years of experience.

You would have to Major in Sciene or something in that range.

Either way you always start as a Police Officer

you have to work your way up the ladder
