Do you feel that you are not accidental. Do you feel that existence needs you? Would there be something missing without you which nobody can replace?

If you would not be there would the stars and sun and moon, the trees and birds and earth - everything in the universe

feel that a small place is vacant which cannot be filled by anybody except you?

  1. I am a fluke of the universe. (easily replaceable)

  2. Existence is not cognizant. It has no idea it exists, let alone that I exist. If you are refering to something akin to the "butterfly effect" whereby my never having been born might change history or something else, well--we would never know, would we? Perhaps one of those babies that was an abortion 40 years ago could be President today, but it is speculation to guess at anything which did not happen.

Answers like "mightaswel" offer do not addres your question. I would be missed also--but not by existence. My non-existence would not change so much as one blade of grass--that anyone would be aware of, and since existence is not aware of me it can not be affected.

  3. No because each person is unique and has unique gifts and abilities to offer the world.

  4. no, its by chance that im here, and a horrible chance that is too. The universe has unfortunatley not removed me from existance and i am stuck living in a world where violence is the answer to every argument throughout history and time.

  5. we were made for to be CONSUME.

  6. Good question, at first i thought that maybe because we are just like a dot in a big world, we could easily be replaced, but after thinking about it properly, i think that as we are all here for a reason (or why were we born), then no, we can never be replaced by someone or something else. We are unique and therefore nothing will ever truly replace us. I am not sure about existence needing us though,,, i suppose it depends what difference we can make on this earth..

  7. As a human being, I'm just a number. But as an individual, I'm totally irreplaceable. I won't go as far as saying the stars will stop shinining when I die, but there are a few lights here on earth that will dim for a while, just as my light dimmed when I lost a friend or a loved one.

  8. Everyone can be replaced.

Life goes on without us all. Inclusing me.

  9. all existence is like a chain if one peice is missing the whole chain will be confused. we r the peices of the chain, each one of us plays his role good or bad. who needs existence try to fullfill the good peices, who does not need 2 be, play the dark side of humanity and is a dead being.
