Did You Hear Me?

slip in and then out I went

like a Southern gent I meant

to stay a while but you

supine and divine so kind

staring blonde at the ceiling

look quite appealing

then a feeling stirred

blurred

my vision of indecision

and I thought better

I had let her rest some more

so tippy toe to the door

never more sure I returned

and turned and earned this right

to be here my Dear

sweet dew on your cheek

to you
