Can you beat the chess program on Mac Tiger?

I have 10.4 or 5 -- and although I'm pretty successful against most computers, that thing (even on the default "Medium" setting) just tears me to ribbons.

  1. It depends.  

    Higher level chess players have a "serious" chess and "just playing" chess.

    Maybe with my serious game, but I would not know.  For some reason if there is no opponent I go into "just playing" mode and do things like the Fried Liver Attack.  (No, the FLA does not work, but I find it fun until I collapse.:))

    Chess Tigar is a very powerful program ... it can be beat but it isn't easy.
