  1. Any past medical history would be covered by HIPPA, so they would not have access to it.

You will be required to submit to a medical exam, and to a psychiatric evaluation. If you pass those, you should be fine.

  2. No, most cops have become cops because of their past.

I'm sure they won't judge you and will give you a fresh start.

    i hope this has helped.

  3. They send for for physcological exams and all that information is available to them. It will be really hard to do

  4. You won't pass the psychological sorry but you could be a FBI agent the except anyone.

  5. Looks like you can, and it's not always under control, even if it appears to be.

  6. Yes , your history is a large part of how applicants for law enforcement positions are evaluated.

  7. Yes anybody can be a cop these days but in my opinion you shouldn't even be allowed to look at a gun

  8. Two approaches for your "Guarded" question. A clean bill of health from a reputable doctor;  secondly your ability to pass the mental & physical examines if so your in. I will say this type of career is not for the average Joe, a lot of would be Police Officers  are living the second approach as a Guard at the Mall. Is it worth jeopardizing your current good health and chance awakening the giant you have manage to put to sleep. Make the right choice, you are the judge that matters here.
