  1. I don't think so because you couldn't pass a physical as far as the blood work (their insurance would be higher rates as it's a high risk job) but then I'm not sure they could deny you due to the discrimination factor so I say go for it!

People with HIV can display no symptoms or weaknesses for decades with the proper treatment.  I think you should be able to become whatever your heart desires.  You are a human being with a disease that you didn't mean to get.  Discrimination is against the law.  I would follow my dreams no matter what stands in my way as should you.  Good luck and if all else fails hire an attorney.

  4. I don't know, unfortunately in the field an HIV positive person could put others at risk in the event of a scuffle with a suspect.

    that the only course of action would be  termination
