  1. I was on zoloft for a little over a year, and I did not become dependent on the drug. My doctor decreased my doses slowly to wean me off so it didn't "shock" my body, but after I was completely off the medications, I was fine.


  2. No, but you have to taper off of it so you do not get a discontinuation syndrome.

  3. Yes, I take Zoloft for depression, and it is habit forming...
