  1. Wow. I bet McCain is shaking in his boots about your Y!A poll.

Thumbs up here if you think McCain will be a great president.

Thumbs down if you think Obama would be a disaster.

  2. You just conducted a poll - how cute.  I'm sure it was an accurate and scientific tool which was a true mirror of the standing of Obama among the American electorate.

    (tee-hee  giggle, giggle)

  3. Yes, certainly

  4. Actually, your poll (though it may not be scientific) reflects the attitude on the "street".  People in the news media polling folks on the street stated that the selection of Sarah Palin has definitely created more "bounce" in Obama's numbers than McCain.  The latest Gallup poll states that Obama is ahead 49% to McCain's 41% (covering up to the end of Friday August 29, 2008).

  5. hardly a scientific poll. your forgetting the millions of grannies who don't surf the net but WILL turn out to vote.

  6. No I can't, actually.

And artimis those numbers were averaged and even Gallup said Friday were the lowest numbers.

  7. That's odd, because MSNBC just reported that McCain's contributions went up by $7million since Palin was announced. Maybe you're just not asking the right people?

  8. yes, it is wonderful news. As your profile says "Sharing what you don't know is one of many ways you can make a positive contribution to the community."

  9. It is possible.

I think many were shocked that McCain asked Governor Palin to run on his ticket.  His rating may have gone down because of that. After people get over the shock I think his rating will go back up. It's going to be close unless someone has another shocker for us.

I am a "Grannie", a registered voter, and I have never voted a straight ticket. I will be voting in November but as yet have not made a definite decision.
