how "we've been attacking her night and day and it's just sad"... after not even a day...

oh... like you have attacked Obama for OH SAY 8 MONTHS...

cons... if you can't stand the heat... you may want to leave the kitchen now... we've got several more months to go... and it will get dirtier both ways...

she's weak... we know it... we're attacking her...

if you think she's strong... you would welcome the attack instead of complaining...

Obama distances himself from "hair-trigger" campaign criticism

At a stop in Monaca, Pa., Barack Obama seemed to distance himself from his campaign's first, harshly critical response to the Palin pick.

"I think that...campaigns start getting these hair triggers and the statement that Joe and I put out reflects our sentiments," he said, according to the pool report, apparently criticizing his staff for going overboard, as he did occasionally in the primary.

He was referring to a more gracious statement of congratulations he issued later with Biden, which he then reiterated.

"I haven't met her before. She seems like a compelling person ... with a terrific personal story.

"I'm sure that she will help make the case for Republicans, unfortunately the case is more of the same, and so ultimately John McCain is at the top of the ticket."

"He wants to take the country in the wrong direction, I'm assuming Gov. Palin agrees with him and his policies," he said.

"But the fact that she ... will soon be nominated ... is one more indicator of this country moving forward ... one more hit against that glass ceiling. I congratulate her and look forward to a vigorous debate."

"I'm pleased with my choice for vice president, Joe Biden. I think he's the man who can help me guide this country in a better direction and help working families."

Biden chimed in: "I'm looking forward to meeting her."

UPDATE: I, uh, initially posted a version of Obama's quote, from the pool report, which included the interjection "uh" three times. It was good of the pooler to give all that detail, but I do normally take non-verbal sounds out of people's quotes, and should have here. I've done so above.

  2. everything they said about Hillary will apply to palin. they say she hates big oil but yet she wants to drill in the Arctic, and it seems like the Alaskan Constitution is the most socialist or even communistic cause it says all the mineral rights belong to th people of Alaska, and is she going to reform national Conservatives the way she did with the corrupt local conservatives? so then they should be more afraid of her than Hillary,

  3. They attack because McBush is the best they have to offer and when that's all you got.... Btw, the Obama/no experience c**p they've been saying for months is a lie. Obama has 20 years of experience to support his resume. What does Palin have, but mayor and 2 years as Governor.  She doesn't even have a Masters degree.

Watch the video clips and be proud you Conservative smart guys!

  4. I was just noticing that, for the first time in over 2 months, the majority of questions are NOT about Obama, but about Palin.....

Very few Obama is a racist, Obama isn't AMerican, Obama is a terrorists, etc. Yet they complain. Now they know what it is like to be on defense all day and night.

  5. I'm finding it harder to believe that you are condemning an entire party because one poster complained

  6. The funny part is when they attack her for her inexperience they are indirectly attacking themselves. That's funny.

    http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_qwNGaeCRkvY/SL... I like this.

I like her even though I'm agnostic. She's much better connected to the people than the socialist scumbag that is obama.

  7. I think this question about Palin’s experience is hilarious.

People have no problem voting for Obama, who has even less experience!

Palin is a Governor. That means she runs the entire state of Alaska. Yes, it's population is small but it is a geographically huge state with many resources to manage and lots of needs.

She has been a Governor for 20 months, which is longer than Obama has served as a Senator. I guarantee you that Palin’s diplomatic skills have been exercised to the nth degree in her rolls as Governor, Mayor and owner of two successful businesses.

Senators just talk.  They talk about polices, propose polices, and vote on policies.

Mayors govern, Governors govern, and presidents govern.

As mayor, and now as Governor, Palin has an approval rating of 85-95%. That is incredibly high!

She kept her campaign promises to her constituents. She had a PLAN for the things she said she was going to do and she initiated those changes right away.

Obama has not communicated a plan for anything he has proposed.  Palin already has a history of creating plans and following through. Being a Governor is far more relative to being president than a Senator.  IMHO, Palin is a better choice than Obama, by far!

  8. I completely agree.  Dems aren't the only ones doing the attacking here.  We're stating our opinions, so stop bitching about it and get in the game.

  9. The whiners from the McCain camp are starting up in earnest.

Before, they had an old geezer to shield from the truth. Now it's a "nanny"-mommy with 5 kids.

Better watch out. Palin might torture the non-believers with moose burgers. :0)

  10. ----------------------------------------...

she's weak... we know it... we're attacking her...

    --------------------------------------...

"g" I hope you are not a man. That would be really horrible.

  11. Dems never attacked her, but told blanted lies and false rumors......that is expectable from Liberals.

  12. REPUBLICANS ARE A BUNCH OF RICH CON ARTIST END OF STORY

FOR MONTHS NOW WHAT DO YOU HEAR ESPECIALLY ON FOX

    "OBAMA HAS NO EXPERIENCE"

NOW WHO DOES MCCAIN PICK TO BE VICE PRESIDENT

THE GOVENOR OF FREAKING ALASKA WHICH HAS ABOUT THE POPULATION OF ONE BOUROUGH OF NY

    GET REAL

DO YOU REALLY THINK SHE CAN HANDLE THE WHOLE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA HAHAHAHA THIS IS A DISGRACE HOW MCCAIN THINKS HE CAN TRY AND GET MORE VOTESSS BECUZ MY VOTE IS STILL GOING TO BE OBAMA

ANDD PEOPLEE NEED TO SHUTT UPP ABOUT OBAMA BEING WEAK THE MAN JUST PCKED BIDEN WHO HASS SO MUCH EXPERIENCE THAT HE COULD TEACH OBAMA EVERYTHING HE KNOWSS SO GET REALL AND WAKE UP BECUZZ IF MCCAIN BECOMES PRESIDENT IM MOVING TO ENGLANDD

  13. Yeah, it's really hypocritical.

  14. To me, it's a patriotic duty to point out Palin's deficiencies. It's possible she will become president, and with a political resume that is far thinner the George W. Bush's, I believe it's likely she would become a tool of the neocon warmongers.

  15. She is stronger than you know. It is Oboma who is weak, as he whines about everything.
