Can you believe that Jack and Rose caused the Titanic lookouts to miss the iceberg?

I just saw this in the reality show/documentary Titanic and I was like WTF two 20-somethings kissing caused the ship to hit the iceberg and sink?! Also how did they have cameras in every place on the ship? I want to cry out 'Karma Karma Chameleonnn!'

Jack and Rose are ficticious characters! It's completely Hollywood. Two people had nothing to do w/ the Titanic sinking. They did not have cameras on the actual Titanic (remember it was 1912!) but they did have cameras on the set of the Hollywood movie in 1997 which depicted the events. What you saw was not a documentary...you saw the Hollywood movie directed by James Cameron and staring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. (Which should have been evident that it was Hollywood since 1. It had famous actors in it and 2. It was in color and the ship sank in 1912!)

Important to remember in the film , the  lookouts didn't have binoculars, which would have allowed them to see the iceberg before they did. Also they could have been watching the goings on ,but really two people kissing wouldn't have caused such a stir, even back then.

I know what you mean, I saw that documentary about the robot from the future trying to kill that woman. I couldn't believe the camera guys didn't try to help when Sarah Connor nearly died.
