  1. What do you mean they won't see him? I'm assuming you're not in the UK...just take him somewhere else.

If you are in the UK (which you might be as you say "nappy") I would imagine they can't fit him in today but there must be somewhere near you that does emergency appointments. If not, you could take him to the hospital but it's likely you'll be waiting a long time. And be thankful that you don't live in the US where people are kicked out of hospital and left by the side of the road because they can't afford insurance.

  2. Stop grandstanding for attention - if you feel he needs medical care and your doctor can't/won't see him then take him to hospital! Seriously, your baby is in agony and you're emailing the national news? You need to get your priorities straight.

  3. TIME TO FIND A NEW DOCTOR....I WOULD BE DISGUSTED TOO!!

  4. As well as emailing the local papers and national news you are also on here!!!! I would go to the chemist and get some advice and cream.

  5. My son also had thrush with a very sore bottom and started bleeding, he hated is nappy being changed! He was prescribed canesten  cream which you can just by from the chemist and  the worst cleared up in about a week, it took a couple of weeks 2 go completely. I hope this helps but I would still see someone.

Sorry 2 hear about your problems - good luck

  6. Did they tell you why they couldn't see him?  Did they say he didn't need to be seen, or was it just that they couldn't fit you in for an appointment today?  Saying that they are booked up for today isn't the same thing as refusing to see him at all.  Take him to a walk-in clinic if your regular doctor can't see him today.

Either way, I hardly think diaper rash qualifies as national news.

EDIT:  You provided updates, but I was still wondering what the answer to my question was--did they just outright refuse to see your son, or did they just not have any available appointments today?

  7. You might want to try MORHULIN OINTMENT from the chemist, my niece had an extremely bad rash and the doctor recommended it, and it cleared up, just be aware if you use terry nappies it will mark them, so use liners or disposables. If not try SUDOCREM.

I hope baby feels better soon.

  8. i would get him to a hospital then a doctor will need to look at him. that is an awful way for a doctor to deal with such a young patient! i hope your little one feels better soon and i definitely think it a good idea to get local papers involved as the other people in your community deserve to know how unfair this doctor is being. good luck

  9. Yes I do believe it........Being a GP pays well, sod helping people, they don't. Well not unless your a member of their golf club. Sick, hate them and their hypocracy.

Doctors have the power to re-write your history, take care and take your son to see a good Homeopath. The hospital will give anti-biotics which can weaken the immune system and are probably not neccessary unless your son has an infection.

Take some photo's if you intend challenging your GP.

  10. What do mean they won't see him? All dr's surgeries have emergency appointments that are made available every day. I fyou can' get him seen by your local GP, then take him to your nearest hospital walk-in clinic. If you don't have one, take him to A&E.

I would be worrying more about getting my son seen somehow, some way, as soon as possible rather than spending my time writing letters to the media.

  11. take him to the hospital and have him seen in the ER department. Poor little baby. hopefully they will report the doctor that refused to see him. he needs anti biotic for that rash.

  12. Doctors are not able to refuse seeing a patient (by law!! And they are not allowed to kick you out of their client, if they dont like you, also law in US), get a new doctor (or is it they dont have any room for your child?), I would even talk to a lawyer about this, but in the mean time I would take him to an urgent care if you have one, or call the hospital and ask them for advice. I am so upset that they would refuse a sick person let alone a child! Unbelievable!

  13. on what grounds is the Dr refusing to see you're son?? That awful, poor little boy must be in so much pain!

    Hope he feels better soon!

  14. ring nhs direct (0845 46 47) , they will be able to supply you with any immediate action you can take but i would suggest going to your local emergency docs it is usually quicker than going to the hospital!

  15. get some alternative help herbalist, homeopath etc there is plenty of quality care out there far superior to doctors who often get it wrong and seem to have power/control issues

  16. Take him to the hospital or the clinic. Not every doctor will deny care.

  17. Have you looked into any alternative medicine docs into options with using healthy bacteria or I thought too there was a remedy that might involve something like violet?

Even mayo clinic has a alternative med reference

    http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/oral-th...

    check the box above

  18. Just take him to the ER and file a complaint with the College of Physicians or whatever governing body is available in your country. I would be livid!!!

  19. They obviously do not think it is serious enough. If your son is in pain take him down to your local walk in centre (if there is one in your area) or take him to the hospital's A&E department and explain that your own doc's would not see him. You could also contact the manager of your doc's surgery in writing to complain. Good luck and i hope this helps.

  20. I am so sorry to hear about this, i would be fuming, i'm not being nasty or anything, it is your own right to email the newspapers but before you do, take your baby to the hospital.

First if all i would make a complaint about the doctor that would not see your son, because a baby should be a priority, serious illness or not! What i suggest is take him to the hospital, explain what happened at your doctors surgery and get him checked over from people who mostly do actually care about their patients. Good Luck, say hi to your baby for me!

  21. Take him to the hospital if you are worried about him. Did your doc give you a reason why he couldn't see him?
