Can you bleach a white metal belt?

I have this white clothed belt with metal hearts all around it. It is really dirty and needs to be washed. How can i wash or bleach it?

put it in a bucket with soap and let it soak for a day then brush it with a brush then rinse it, then soak in in softener 30 mins then rinse properly then let it dry.

Try putting it in a mesh bag and wash it in the washer.  I'm not sure about drying it.  It might be better to flatten it and leave it to air dry.  I'd be a little leery about using bleach on it.  A lot of times bleach leaves things yellowish.

Please don't bleach it. Bleach and metal are not good friends. You'll probably ruin your belt. Summer & Mary Ellen have the right idea.
