Can you block certain numbers from texting you with Verizon Wireless?

I have Sprint right now and I can go to the Sprint site and type in any number and I will not be able to recieve texts from that person. Is there any way to do this with Verizon? Thank you.

Some phones have an option called a rejection list. It would be under call settings if you have this option. You would simply add the number to the rejection list and the call wouldn't go through. Actually the caller just goes straight to voice mail.

If you do not have the rejection list, then assign a silent ringtone to the person. That way the person calls, you won't hear them calling. You can just ignore the call.

yes but the feature to do that is 4.99 a month and you can block up to 20 numbers at a time. go to the link below for further information... but there is a ton of other things you can do for paying 4.99 a month. check out the link below and hopefully this answers your question! it is also done online is you have a My Verizon acct.
