Can you boil the tap water in majorca for cups of tea?

I got yes and no answers when i went to Majorca!

So i just played it safe and bought a few litre bottles of water and did it that way ;-)

Yup! Theres nothing wrong with  the water, its only because you're not used to it that it could make you a bit ill. If you boil the water you'll be fine! I live in spain, always drink bottled water because i hate the taste (tastes too much like a swimming pool!) but i always cook and make tea and coffee with tap water.

Of course you can.  The water in Majorca is OK to drink straight from the tap, and boiling it for tea will kill any bacteria anyway.

yes i lived there last year and you can, if you wanted to you could drink it straight from the tap

we did and also for babies bottles as you cant give bottled water to babies.

i just use bottled water just incase as its very cheap and you dont want to end up with adodgey stomach p.s all i do is drink tea so i know what you mean
