I use my iPod Touch as an external hard drive with DiskAid and I was wondering if it is possible to install an operating system on it and boot my computer from it?

  1. No, you can't, unfortunately. You can do this with a Classic or Nano, but that isn't recommended because the Classic isn't made for that kind of hard drive use and the Nano just doesn't hold much space.

  2. may be yes

  3. No your computer's bios won't recognize the iPod because it can only be used as an external with it's drivers installed. it's not really supposed to be used as an external in the first place.
