  1. yea you can

    small chance they will though

ive seen a box mud turtle hybrid

  2. yup for sure. if they will

  3. mmmmm i guess u can

  4. RES & YBS are subspecies of the same species, Trachemys scripta. (Sliders and cooters, incidently, are not.)

RES & YBS will and do interbreed in the wild, mostly in and around Alabama. BTW, it helps if one is a male and the other is a female. ;-)

  5. They can interbreed, especially as they are actually the same species.  Pretty much all sliders and cooters are the same species...just different sub-species.

It is usually considered bad to interbreed them although a number of commercial turtle suppliers do so to get designer turtles and make it more likely that they might get some that look unusual enough to jack up the price.  Apparently there are also some health issues that I am not very familiar with.

  6. yes of course...............but good luck getting them to breed. if they do not breed them give them time to become aquainted and meet each other then attempt a breed.. i personally have managed to breed them its a beauty when the breed is sucess

  7. ya but the bad thing is you cant force them to...lol
