Can you bring a backpack into a Las Vegas casino?

Yes, you can.  While we are in Las Vegas we like to carry a backpack with us to carry anything we need since we won't be near our hotel room.  We also buy souvenirs while we are out so it is nice to have a backpack to put it in.  The casinos have never said anything to us about it at all.  It's not like you can steal anything.

Dont forget, all these casinos are also hotels. Hotels dont restrict what you can bring into your room.

They are very worried about computers near a blackjack game. If you want to play blackjack, just put it down and away from you so that it is clearly out of the way, and you don''t have cables running up your pant leg.

With slot machines there is usually no problem.

As long as it is on the floor while you are playing table games and you don't bring it up to the table you should be ok.

yes you can.  h**l, i gamble with my suitcase next to me after i check out.  just make sure it is in your control like between your legs.  don't wrap your backpack or purse behind the chair.  there are people who just roam casinos snatching peoples bags and purses.  security may inspect you bags and or tell you to keep a better eye on it if they feel it is out in the open.
