Can you bring a digital camera onto a plane.....?

i really dont want to put it away in my bag there is just some stuff that i would like to be by my side when i get on the plane. i am bring my purse so i was just wondering if it will be able to stay in my bag.

Yes, you can carry on your digital camera. I always bring at least one with me when I travel and always keep it with my carry on stuff.
