I'm leaving on friday to see my boyfriend in Texas and he's been begging me to make one and bring it with me, but I'm afraid if I put it in my checked bag it will be squished. I know you're allowed to bring your own food, but the filling in the pumpkin roll is cream cheese. And I was wondering if that considered a liquid? What should i do?

  1. Yes you can bring it on the plane with you.  If you prefer to put it in your checked bags, pack it in a disposable plastic container such as Gald Ware and then put the container in the center of your bag surrounded by clothing to cushion it.

You may also carry it on with you.  Again, I recommend using a plastic container to keep it from getting squished.

  2. the cream cheese filling shouldn't be considered a liquid, but you never know. You might try and wrap it in saran wrap, then put in a plastic bag w/the excess filled with air to keep it from getting smashed. I don't blame your bf. Pumkin rolls are the best! also they freeze well you might consider that also!
