Can you bring an electrical extension on a cruise?

well i dont what you call it, but its a a long thing, that has like 7 other electrical slots on it. there is like only one socket on the cruise, but i need to use a lot more. do u think i can can bring that?

  2. I think you are  referring to a surge protector or power strip.  Yes, you can bring one on board.  That way, you can use recharge your camera batteries, use a curling iron or any other electrical gadgets at the same time.  

    Cabins usually only have one electrical outlet in the cabin, and one in the bathroom.  I've heard that many people do take a  power strip with them.  I'm going on a cruise in August and plan to take one with me also.

  3. I always take a power strip.  Be advised though that you can trip circuit breakers is you do this.  I only use it as absolutely necessary.

  4. I have a power strip that has 3 plugs on it and plugs into the exisiting single plug, it also has a night light built into it. You will need more than one plug for hair dryer,curling iron, cell phone charger.
