  1. I did before, not to long ago.

  2. I would suggest calling your airline because of the many rules that have been enacted since 9-11. And Rob H. needs to stop scamming and spamming about the ridiculous internet money scam.

  3. Art supplies should be fine. Be careful of liquids though. So any paints and stuff. I wouldn't carry them on. Liquids are limited to a three 3oz bottles. If they are bigger or you have more than three, the WILL throw them away...no question. Not even water. (ie: if you want water, bring some money with you and you can possibly buy water AFTER you go though security or Starbucks hehe). In your check-in all of your liquid stuff has to be in a gallon size zipper bag and on top of all of your stuff.

Check out this link....It has all the info. Look thru it carefully. Art stuff is can get expensive so I can understand.

  4. As long as there are no sharp objects (so woodcarving is out) and all of your liquids (paints, etc.) are less than 3 oz. and fit comfortably in a 1 quart bag with all of your other liquids, you'll be fine.

  5. not if its liquid because if it is liquid then they might think u have poison or something like that crayons i think are fine and i know that markers-erasers-pens-and pencils are totally fine but the only thing i am still not sure about is oil pastels but honestly i am almost 100 percent sure that u can

  6. Well it would be helpful if we knew which airline you would be on. I was recently on American and coming home from Vegas I had a lot of gifts for friends and family that I didn't want to ruin by packing in my suit case so I brought a bag on board. There were many different things including coloring books and crayons that was completely fine. As long as there is not a safety issue. So as far as pens I dunno if they will allow them or oil pastels just because it can get messy but I am sure you can bring paper color pencils should be fine. If they are expensive then your best bet would be to call and ask the specific airline you are using because they all have different rules. I know that American has all the things you can and cannot bring online at their website. If you are flying with someone else I am sure, they to, have a website you can look this info up on.

  7. Yes you can, as long as they don't include the little pen knife.

  8. Well, as long as there are no sharp things. I should expect they'll want to look inside the case the supplies are in, if they are in a case. There's no danger, and I have before. It should be okay. Not much else to say!

Hope I helped! Could you help me maybe?

  9. Yes, this should be allowed. it´s not going to be a big deal having a few pencils etc. You might get your bag searched, but you will be allowed it on a plane ;)

P.S. If you have time, check out my question please

  10. i think so. but a few years ago when i was coming back from spain, a little boy had these little paints and this guy threw them away but it was because there were terrorists going to spain so they checked all your bags and they even threw away my moms makeup :O

  11. I've drawn on a plane MANY times. They don't like it when you takes supplies out at the very beginning of the flight, but in the middle it should be fine. They will tell you when the plane is about to land, and that's when you should put them away. As long as you don't bring any scissors or sharp objects that could hurt someone.

    HAVE FUN!

  12. Yes, if they are in pencil or crayon form.  Anything like tube paint will have to go.

Caution: if you have any sharpeners or tools with knife like edges (to shave charcoal or wood), that could be taken from you.

I've traveled with my kids art supply (markets, crayons, pens) and have not been stopped.  They did take my mini pocket knife off my key ring.

  13. depends what u define as art, if its lovely sketches then thats fine, but if you are into the art of death and violent weapons, then sorry

  14. ur pencils, crayon and stuff, etc..........yea. no sharp stuff though, they'll take those away,

paints(any kind, tube or wteva), i doubt it. any liquid u have should only b 2oz or less(in ur carry on), but if u puttin it in ur suitcase it can b more. b on da safe side, DON'T put them in ur carry on.

call da airlines though and ask, they change their rules pretty often

  15. When I went on a plane my younger sibling and I brought crafty things on the plane. We brought markers pencils pens and crayons. I'm sure they will let you bring on oil pastels. A good tip would be to go on google. Type in the name of your plane. All planes have a website, that includes information on what you are allowed to bring on your carry on. Or they may give you a number that you can call. Best of luck.

    Have a safe flight.

  16. i think those items are fine...

i wouldnt bring paint cause its sort of liquid and they might take that.

    just a couple small things...

if in doubt just pack the suspect items in your check in and have fun with crayons and the dryer items.

  17. i think if you dont make a mess then you will be fine (:
