Can you bring cigarettes on a plane?

from canada to cuba? if they are in my luggage or is that not allowed , and i will have to end up buying them somewheres in cuba?

  1. I passed several times with a 200 cigarettes pack , no one made a remark . In most countries 200 cigarettes are allowed. You can buy foreign brands in Cuba too.

    Try some Cuban cigarettes too . The "Popular" brand is strong but H.Upmann and Holywood are mild.

  3. Sure you can although smokes are considerably cheaper in Cuba.  edit:  Cuban cigarets are very strong but once you get used to them they are o.k.  about 1.40 CUC per pack.  Maybe 15% of what  cigarets are in Canada,

  4. Yes, you are allowed to bring cigarettes/cigars back on the plane, but not allowed to smoke them because of Canada's smoking laws

    You can bring up to a maximum of 50 cigars duty free (apparently, thats what the cubans told us) but I wouldn't bring back that many anyways, or at least not claim all of them, or customs will be up your..
