  1. What is clipless?

  2. Clipless Gun NO, clipless pedals maybe, clipless shoes why not.

  3. "What is clipless?"

If you don't know, don't answer the question!!!

Are we talking about your pedals or your shoes?

Save yourself the headaches and put them in your check baggage.

  4. You should have zero problems, but if you're in doubt, check the website for the airline you'll be flying and/or call them up.  I took two pairs of pedals with me to Portland last fall, two different trips (using United, American, and one other small carrier).  I had them in my checked bag as well as my carry-on, at different times.   Just put them in a plastic bag and make them easily accessible for the TSA inspectors in case they want to take a look (they probably won't, though).

There are all kinds of oddball metal parts in people's luggage.  Mountaineering crampons, for instance.....they look wicked but they're just fine in your luggage, too.    Hope this helps, have fun wherever you're headed on your trip!   :o)
