  1. If you are traveling to México by plane I suggest you not to bring any kind of drye food like that ones you are mentioning, meat neither (for sanitarians regulations) other wise costumers officers may take it out from you with out any possibility to give it you back. So dont waste your money that kind of food you can also find out in mexico and are safety to eat. In fact there are some american supermarkets there if you are not confident about mexican supermarkets.

  2. what for?... Monterrey is a big and modern city, plenty of malls and superstores, with all what you can want to get, so, what for do you want to carry those things?

  3. You can but why?  Those items are cheaper in Mexico.  Not sure what sauces you're wanting to know about taking but Mexico is very modern esp. in big cities.

  4. Dried and packaged foods are generally fine to bring in.  If the sauces are homemade, they can't be brought in (although, honestly, I've never been stopped and searched either -- the worst they'd probably do is just take it away.)

If you are fluent in Spanish, here is the website for the regulatory agency in Mexico (Senasica) that lists all allowed, regulated and prohibited items:

    ...

  5. Sure you can. You can also buy those things in Mexico and it will save you the trouble. There are Walmarts everywhere, including Chedraui (Walmarts competition). You can buy all that stuff cheaper there.

  6. im not shure.
