Can you bring lighters on a cruise?

I'm going on a cruise in two day's and i haven't been on one in 3 years. I completely forgot if we were allowed to bring lighters on board, does anyone know if there are any restrictions?

Yes you can bring a lighter.  But be aware that alot of cruise lines are switching to NON Smoking policies.  There are many places on the ship that you cannot light up!

No restrictions for lighters. Avoid guns, drugs and bombs. Thats it. Enjoy your cruise!

Yes lighter's are still allowed on cruise lines. But like was said, you aren't going to be able to smoke many places. Pretty much one or 2 outside decks and only one one side of the ship. Also if you have a balcony room you can smoke out there but not in your state room.

The only real restriction is planes. You can not bring a lighter in a carry on bag. You CAN put lighters in your checked bags though. So just make sure you have a pack or 2 of matches for your flight(s) if you are taking them and until you get access to your bags on board.

You should contact your cruise line directly.  Some restrictions apply on certain ships due to fire controls ...not all cruise ships and cruiselines follow any one guideline.
